Add/remove programs will show the service packs for ISA, WSS and Windows 2003, but not for Exchange and SQL 2000. You will need to check the 'Show updates' box for this:
If SBS 2003 has been updated with the SP1, it will show in Add/remove too. The Service pack 1 for W 2003 server is listed, as well as the XP SP2 deployment (891193) and the SBS 2003 SP1:
An install with SP1 integrated media however, will not show the service pack level here for W 2003 server nor SBS 2003. But it will show the hot fix 909988 which is only applied on SP1 integrated SBS 2003 installs:
To be absolutely sure if the install is with or without SP1 integrated media, you can check the date stamp of the files in folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business Server\Administration. When SBS was upgraded with SP1, the files will have date April 29 2005:
When SBS was installed with SP1 integrated media, the date is April 30 2005:
To find out what Service Pack level Exchange has, open Exchange System Manager and select Servers. In the right pane you will see the version number, build number and service pack level:
The service pack for SQL 2000 server is found by selecting Properties in the tool bar after you have selected the (local) Windows SQL instance in Microsoft SQL Server from Services and Applications in Computer Management:
