Hello.
 
On of our Vista business desktops is reporting itself as having no anti-virus and that Defender is turned off and out of date.
 
None of this is true.
 
Is there anything i can do to sort it out?

are all the latest vista updates installed? have you tried to manually update defender?

rebooted the pc?

have you looked in the reliability monitor to see if anything shows up there?

system restore?

I can't see anything.
 
Don't really want to do a system restore just yet but I will do if I can't resolve the issue.
