I have been happy user of SBS 2003 Standard for about 2 years, now it seems that there is some problems.
Firstly, without any actions from me SMTP failed suddenly last week. All outgoing emails where left in queue blaiming that cannto connect to SMTP smarthost. I got it fixed by running internet and email wizards again.
But now I cannot access Outlook web access or remote desktop anymore outside by local network.
System is planned so that there is only this SBS2003 server used also as local workstation then only web access. Currently only one man company using it.
It works perfectly from my local network (both from SBS 2003 computer or any other computers in same lan) but when access otside (thu ADSL router) web browser warns about certificate as usual but then shows IIS 403.6 error page.
I cannot find any clear reason for this by going thru Server Management.

Somehow it seems to me being related to firewall or ISA ?
I am using one NIC method so no integrated firewall in use though wizard fails for firewall configuration when running Connect to internet.
In the event viewer there is nothing dramatic, only group policy warnings and errors but I have newer used that either.

I found some article about similar problem where root cause where sharepoint timer service not started but it is not my case.

I have planned to clean and reinstall my server in near future as it seems that it is now failing feature by feature within short period of time.
I am also lacking proper backup of entire system allthough my data is backed up well.

Anyways, to be able to schedule that to suitable time I was hoping to fix this access problem now.

BR,
Janne
