Hi, just wondering if it were possible to run an installation of SBS2003 standard and a separate standalone machine with ISA 2004 / 2006 installed. Will SBS 2003 standard ed. get "angry" and make me use the Premium edition for ISA capabilities?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

It will work just fine. The only thing you give up is that you will have to maunally create all the access rules in ISA. The advanges of the SBS Premium with ISA integrated is that running the CEICW wizard configures ISA for you. When ISA is a stand alone, that can't happen. No big deal. Ppl have been configuring ISA manually for years.

Depending on your environment this may be beneficial for you, but as Stan stated there are many many articles and books on how to manually configure ISA.
