we have a user with a mobile phone (laptop, pda, etc) that does not run windows but osX (symbian, etc) instead. the user needs access to his mailbox when he's in the office and when out.
back in old days when we had unix (solaris) machine as our main DNS (BIND) server, we simply created an A record pointing to mail server (e.g. mail.aabbcc.com) and any mail client was able to connect to that FQDN address regardless of one's location. which was cool.
now what options do we have with SBS DNS server running .local net? i tried creating same ol' A record but instead received mail.aabbcc.com.aabbcc.local. which is nonsense.
any clue?
