Hi
My name is Chris. The server in my work crashed last month and we are in the process of a reinstall. Unfortunately the man who was working on our server last has lost one of our BackOffice SBS 4.5 cds. I have cd 2 and 3, and even the case with the serial number on it. But I can't find cd 1 anywhere. Is there anywhere I could download an ISO of this? It's wouldn't be piracy as we have an original copy and I just need cd 1. If anyone is able to help I would be very thankful.
Regards,
   Chris

Chris,

SBS 4.5 is totally outdated and no longer supported. I am really supprised to see that there is somebody in this world still running SBS 4.5. That is almost 10 years old and very, very unsecure compared to what we have now.

As much as I want to help you I can't. I simply don't have that media anymore and I doubt Microsoft is able to give it to you. I suggest you get some new hardware, buy SBS 2003 and use the backup you have to restore what can be restored from that backup.

Thanks for your advice Mariette. I know SBS 4.5 is quite old. Unfortunately our company is quite small and our management never thought to spend much money on upgrading our computers. We do have another Server 2003 as a file server but it doesn't have SBS, and another company is quoting a lot of money to upragde it for us. It's a bit of a nightmare. I will check Ebay for SBS 4.5. Thanks again!

Thanks for your help Mariette. I have bidded on an SBS on Ebay too. If we can get an iso quicker that would be good, but don't go to any trouble trying to get one. Thanks!

I'm not sure Brian. We have NT4 installed on it again. It's exchange we need set up, so I think we need SBS disc 1. But if we are stuck we will try and see if it installs without disc 1. Thanks for your help!
