Hi Peeps,

Just started using Sharepoint at a client of mine. They want their existing document folders and files dragged into the Sharepoint site. So i drag and drop....then it stops, because the documents have a '&' symbol on them....cue file copy stopping and a nasty message. I confirm its the '&' by renaming and replacing it with the word 'and'.

Is there any way around this?

Or is there a tool that can do a 'find and replace' operation on entire directories? There are a LOT of files.....too many to manually rename...

cheers

Andy
