i have set up a new sbs server with isa and exchange. i have setup some high tiered company users and they of course ask imeadiately how they check their exchange account with their iPhones.

i shrugged and said "i'll get right on it"

HELP ! !

where do i find my server specific settings so that a user can use their exchange server from their iPhone?

Thank you Michael for the reply.

i am more interested in how the new iphone firmware 2.0 can utilize the current installation.

does a standard installation of sbs 2003 r2 with premium content (exchange and isa) need further config to allow a user with an activesync device to be able to access their email on the exchange side of the sbs server

i initiated the very simple step on the iphone and got stumped at the server name. i did try of course "exchange.my-domain.com" but it failed authentication with a valid user account.

did i use the right server name or where can i find the server name of my sbs to use?

ahh...haven't played with the new version yet.....

servername should be what your web certificate says....such as mail.domain.com or if you don't have that its your static IP address...

Hi Jack,

You should use whatever you have filled in for the web certificate when you run the CEICW. That will setup ISA automagically.
