Hi there,

My SBS 2003 R2 site has only just developed the following issue.  Accessing RWW has been hassel-free until now.  Both Domain Admins and Domain Users can authenticate against the public https://myserver.fqdn/remote address successfully.  The difference is that while Domain Admins can get the Main Menu page to load correctly, Domain Users can't.  Instead they get the typical IE error message "The page cannot be displayed".

OWA is working fine for both groups.

I can't think of any recent changes made to the system that would have contributed to the issue - it had to happen somehow though, granted.  I have tried rerunning the CEICW wizard but got the same results.  My knowledge of IIS and Sharepoint aren't really good enough to confidently t/shoot this issue alone.

I thank you for your time in reading this thread, and throwing forward some ideas / questions.

How did you add the users on that server? Did you use the SBS add user wizard?

Hi Mariette,

First let me say thanks to you and the others who maintain and support this site - it's a real gem.

Secondly, about the issue I was having, I've resolved it.

Things done included -

- reapplying the Mobile User Template through the Change User Permissions Wizard in Manage Users to all relevant users
- majical reboot

To answer your question, yep I used the wizards.  GOLDEN RULE.... Always use the wizards!  Coming from an Enterprise environment I found this out the hard way when first dealing with SBS.

Thanks for replying.  I have another query your welcome to look at - will start another thread though.

Thanks again!

Thanks Zac! Yes, the wizards rule in SBS land. I am glad you fixed this.

I have this same issue, but reapplying the Mobile User Template does not fix.

As previously noted, Domain Admins have no issue logging in and accessing the RWW site. All other users who previously had no issue are now able to login but then get a LOADING.... in the middle of the screen and a PAGE CANNOT BE FOUND at the top.

An SBS.RWW error is logged in the System log. Searches on this error point a couple of problems, however none of those have fixed it.

Any other suggestions?!

Ken
