So we're running SBS standard and something happened this afternoon.

I'm not quite sure what but it looks like some of my services won't start and/or are missing. I'm pretty sure IIS is gone and that's the main problem

We don't have a backup (i know, i know)

Is there a way to repair SBS without having to do a fresh install?

We're not getting any e-mail and I can not connect to the internet through the server. I have to plug directly into the modem. I have tried restarting, resetting, moving hubs and switches. All to no avail. I have narrowed it down to a server issue.

Let me know if you need more info. I'm sweating over here without any answers!!
thanks!

Why don't you repair it by setup CD's.

well, it turns out you can't really just repair with the cds like you can with say XP.

I had to re-install the IIS and some other missing windows components (they all were removed??)

that brought back internet.
I re-installed sharepoint and restored the files from our companyweb. then installed the updates.

that brought back the internal website and all it's data.

I had to call in a tech for the last part, Exchange was giving me grief. We ended up un-installing it all and re-installing.

We still haven't tried restoring the data to Exchange yet, but I'll keep you posted

Thanks!
