Each Windows Small Business Server 2003 client access license (CAL) allows either one user or one device to run a copy of Outlook 2003. Will this also be true for SBS 2k8, will an Outlook 2k7 license be included with every device/user CAL?

By the way, do you guys think that we will se a RTM of SBS 2k8 before the end of 2k8?

Regards
Event

Exchange 2007 changed the way that Outlook is handled, and as such, SBS 2008 will change as well. Licenses to run an e-mail client (Outlook/Entourage) are no longer included with the Exchange CAL, so SBS 2008 will not include a license for Outlook as part of the package. Users wishing to access their mailbox with Outlook will need to have their own license for Outlook, which is assumed to be part of an Office license. Same holds true for Entourage.

The Exchange/SBS CAL will still cover access to OWA, but not the full desktop Outlook client.
