Hi,

I'm planning to upgrade to brand new hardware when SBS 2008 comes out.
I want to go from 2003 Standard -> 2008 Premium.

The 1st machine has to be a 64-bit machine, however... what about the 2nd one that will be running SQL Server 2008 ?
Can that one run 32-bit or must that also be a 64-bit machine ?

I'd like to re-use my current sbs2003 hardware for the 2nd server (is that possible to do via the MS Migration way?), but I'm not sure if it supports a 64-bit OS.
Anyone who knows if a Dell PowerEdge 2850 (Intel Xeon 3.0GHz) can run a 64-bit OS ?
I think it does, but not really  sure.

Thanks for any info

Nevermind....
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver/essential/sbs/prodinfo/systemreqs.mspx explains it all

However, still need to know when performing the MS 2003 -> 2008 migration steps if I can install the 2nd server later in the process, so
I can use my current SBS 2003 hw for this.
