I have 3 HP Printers shared from Small Business Server.  The printers are listed in the Domain & were added to workstations either during the Small Business add computer setup or manually by searching the directory.  I recently updated the driver for one of the printers on the server.  After rebooting the workstations, they all seemed to pick up the new driver.  Everything was good for few days then the Print Spooler started crashing on the server.  I restarted the spooler a couple of times, cleared the spooler folder, & I was still seeing it crash.  On the server I went to check the printer properties for the printer that I had updated the driver on & it said that there was no driver installed.  I added the driver back by selecting it from the list in Windows.  That seemed to get things going again.  I did have one more spooler crash a few days later.  I am, however, seeing the following additional issues:
  1.  The default tray setting on the Workstations keeps reverting from Automatic to Manual Feed tray 1.
  2. I went to a workstation removed the printer, removed the driver from the workstation via File>Server properties in Printer & Faxes.  After rebooting the workstation the printer reinstalled automatically, but it had an older driver.  A 2nd reboot of the workstation & it picked up the newer driver.
I think I need to reinstall the driver on the server, or possibly roll back to an earlier driver.

Questions:
  1. What is the "Proper" way to  remove & reinstall the driver on the server?
  2. After reinstalling the driver, should I remove the printer from the Workstations & readd it?
