I have a SBS 2003 R2 system just about at the 75 user limit.  Things have drifted over time and I am trying to get a handle on what remote access is being used so that I can plan out an upgrade beyond SBS.  I know I have users (at least 30 or 40) accessing OWA over the public internet through the remote web workplace.  However I also suspect I have many users accessing their desktop through remote web workplace.

What I am trying to get a handle on is WHO uses WHAT.  (e.g. how many people use OWA, how many access their company desktops through remote web workplace.)  Is there any kind of monitoring tool or reporting tool in SBS 2003 R2 that would tell me some of this information about past usage of the remote web workplace (preferably by user) and at a high level what they used it for?

Hi Ess Wiego,

If you go to http://servername/monitoring (replace servername with the name of you SBS server) you will be able to run an extended usage monitoring report and put n your desired date range.

I hope that helps,

Fieldy
