Having had massive problems with SQL databases and Monitoring, Intranet, Sharepoint and others going belly up, I've managed to get Monitoring working and Sharepoint to stop throwing out errors.

After successfully reinstalling Sharepoint and restarting, when I go to companyweb (http://companyweb), I receive:

Directory Listing Denied

This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

In IIS, companyweb is empty, and home directory is c:\inetpub\companyweb, which is also empty!

Obvioulsy, I need to re-populate or re-create the companyweb.  Where do I start?

My only clue is that in the event log I have:
Type:        Error
Date:        29/07/2008
Time:        14:16:00
Event:        1007
Source:        W3SVC
Category:    None
User:        N/A
Computer:    *SERVERNAME*
Description: Cannot register the URL prefix 'http://*:80/' for site '3'. The necessary network binding may already be in use. The site has been deactivated.  The data field contains the error number.

On another (related?) note if I go to http://*servername*, and click on either My Company's Internal Website or Remote Web Workplace, it produces:

403: The website declined to show this webpage.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Drew,

Please, post an ipconfig /all from the server and a workstation. Open a command prompt by opening Start -> Run from the Start Menu and type cmd. From the command prompt type ipconfig /all >ip.txt. Attach this file to your answer.
