I recently had to run CIEW to fix a web browsing issue.  The issue is fixed but now my Blackberry Enterprise Server is not working.

I have basically run through the install of the Server again, deleted and re-created the ISA 2000 Protocol Definitions and Access Policy Protocol Rules to allow the Blackberry Server to communicate using TCP port 3101 (Primary outbound, secondary inbound).

I have changed the Blackberry Server Web Server Listening Port and the Web Server SSL Listen Port to something other than 8080.(I restarted the Blackberry service after making the change).

How can I find out exactly which ISA policy is blocking the communications?  How can I determine if another port is required to be open?

I did not have my password list with me so I had to change the BESAdmin password in the SBS Users screen. Does anyone know if I need to change a password in Blackberry Enterprise Server to allow the Blackberry Enterprise Server to pass through the ISA server, or is this simply dependent on the BESAdmin user?

As you can imagine I need to solve this issue ASAP.

Thanks,
Bob

Marina,

It appears running the internet connection wizard to attempt to solve my web browsing issues automatically enabled the need for all user to authenticate to access the outside world.  Once that was taken care of my Blackberry server started to work correctly.  Still having the internet browsing issues though.
