Just bought a scanner for the office for archiving correspondence which we wish to store on the SBS. I want my users to be able to create and rename folders so we have a meaningful file structure but not delete permission for files or folders. Having tried a variety of different permission options I can not get this to work. If I allow rename I am also allowing delete, if I deny delete they can not rename. Is there a solution?

Hi Keith,

Did you figure this out yet?

Marina Roos Smallbizserver.Net AdministratorMission accomplished. We have joined the branch office to our SBS 2003 Headquarters and have the same user experience on the branch office as we have on our local  network at the Headquarters. Want to know how? Hi Marina
No I havent, it looks like giving a user rename permission also gives them the delete permission, and if you deny them delete you also deny them rename. Bit of a pain really.
