I have a printer shared from a workstation & listed in the directory & I need to move it to a new computer.  Is there a way to edit the exiting directory entry to point it to the new PC, or do I need to create a new entry?

Depends on whether the Printer was installed on Server with persistent port mapping to client (net use Lpt7 \\client1\printer -p) or if Client just has installed and other clients connect. If on Server then just remap your LPT7 to \\Client2\printer (I like this method when forced to share from Client .. although a $40 print server is best if Network connection available) otherwise I believe you must relist in directory from new client.

Thanks Brett.  No port mapping on server, so guess I will need to redo this printer.
