Hi all,

I am changing a NIC on a SBS 2003 R2 server.

I shut down the server, removed the NIC and inserted it in another PCI slot.

After rebooting, when I run the EICW, I get error messages informing me that there is a old card, that it is disconnected and thus is hidden but that the IP address might be clashing with the IP address of the new NIC

I assume I have to completely wipe the existence of the old card from this server.
Should I clean the registry? If yes, which registry keys should I delete???

Thanks for your feedback

Hi Alexandre,

Download the 'hidden devices' batch file from the download section. Rerun CEICW. Rerun SBS BPA.
