Subject: Slow saving attachments from Outlook 2007 to shared folder on SBS 2003

Here is the thing, I can save the file to the desktop then copy it over to the shared folder with reasonable speeds, however when I try to save it right from the outlook dialog box, it crawls when navigating the shared folder and besides that, when i save it...it doesnt actually save. the dialog goes away like it did, then outlook freezes and in the shared folder there is no attachment saved...what gives? anyone had this problem?

What OS is this and if you save it to a local folder is it also slow?

Saving around on the computer itself it not slow...just transferring files to the server to and from are slow as well as saving from within Outlook are incredibly slow.

Server is running sbs 2003 sp2 and the computers are xp sp2 and sp3. I tried both to figure it may be some updates on the workstations, but it wasnt....
