Hello

Until Saturday eveniing our SBS box was performing nominally. A VM server installed on this machine has been upgraded from 1.03 to 2.0.
Since then, the SBS box cannot be pinged which means no computer can reach it in the LAN. On the opposite the SBS box can ping any computer in the LAN.
VMware has been uninstalled: no change
A fully functionnal backup has been restored: no change
Any possible test has been made with no succces, including switch: no change
The backup network card has been tested: no change
There are no firewall on the SBS box
There is only one NIC card
All computers are on the same LAN (192.168.10.x)

And the IP of the VM machine can be pinged (which means the network card is working??)

I'm desperately out of ideas.

Thank you
Nicolas

More info please. Can you post an ipconfig/all of both the sbsserver and a client. Open a command prompt by opening Start -> Run from the Start Menu and type cmd. From the command prompt type ipconfig /all >ip.txt. Attach this file to your answer.

Thanks Stan

There was definitely no problem with ipconfig that have been checked multiple times.
We are currently doing a full backup restore and we are experiencing some troubles though. Hence my recent post on this subject
