Hi,

One of my customers is using SBS2003 Standard and we are attempting to use WSS due to its great features. Now they are on V2 of WSS but STD SBS2003. Am I right in assuming that even if I have a licenced copy of SQL 2000 it would be better to do an alongside install of WSS 3.0 for searches?

I have been reading many forumns and just want to confirm thats the best way for my client to go.

All the install documents talk about Premium and not Standard SBS2003 versions and when I start doing the SQL 2000 install you dont get the ability to Ugrade and pick the SHAREPOINT instance, you can deselect "default" but cant select any instance.

We love using WSS but just need to enable to Full Text Search and we can actively use it.

Best Regards,

Paul
