Even 1,5 Gb isn't out of the ordinary for Exchange. It will dynamically use and release memory when needed. Stop doing the daily reboot please as that is not the solution.

OK, I have stopped the daily reboot to  see what happens.  But the delayed response is still unacceptable, especially when the company is putting its eggs entirely into the Sharepoint basket.
