Client has SBS server that was installed into an existing 2K3active directory last year. (following Microsofts methods..so it's boss of the network)
5 servers on the network...SBS is really just being used for Exchange and the RWW portal, besides DHCP, DNS, etc.
File storage on another server, other shared applications on other servers.

Last winter when Sharepoint 3 came out..I accidently installed it via Windows updates....so I uninstalled it, and did the complete reinstall of Sharepoint 2.0..which appeared to go fine.  Client began using Sharepoint 2 about 2 months ago, the calendars.

This week 3x times in a row...Sharepoint becomes unavailable at some point in the day.  Approx 20x sharepoint users.  They open up IE shortcut to ...and.....nothing...times out.

I tried restarting IIS services...nada.  Only solution is to reboot the SBS box..Sharepoint comes back...til the next day or so.

Proliant ML360, quad core Xeon, 4 gigs of RAM, single homed server (1x NIC), other is disabled.

Puzzled where to start troubleshooting this, suggestions?

Brian -

Have you looked in the Event Logs around the time that users report loss of access to Sharepoint? Could be some clues in there...
