Hello:

I am currently trying to install WSUS to my SBS2003 installation.  I have the Premium edition including SP1 upgrades installed.  When following this sites WSUS intallation instructions, I notice that to install to SQL, you need to choose the "default" instance of SQL.  During my install, only the SHAREPOINT instance appears in my list of choices.  What do I need to do to correct this condition before I install the WSUS services?? (I dont want to use the desktop engine)  Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hi Robert,

Did you install the default SQL instance in the first place? Check out SQL Enterprise Manager. Do you have the local instance? If not, install it from the Premium CD.
