Hi Mariette & Marina

Quick question - I have SBS2003 Premium and have applied SP1 a while back. I had not installed ISA or SQL but now need SQL. Is it O.K. to just go ahead and install it now? Will I need to re-apply SP1 after?

Regards

Mike

Hi Mike,

You only need to install SQL 2000 SP4 after you installed SQL 2000. ISA has SP1 integrated so there is nothing to install afterwards. Be sure to use the Premium CD for this and nothing else. The Premium CD contains the correct ISA bits for installing on a SBS 2003.

If you want to enjoy the benefits of the best Firewall available I would install it. Do you have a special reason you don't want to install ISA 2004?

Mariette
So far I have SBS2003/Symantec AV Multi-tier v9 (Server/Exch)/Blackberry Enterprise Server/VPN Server running on this box and do not want to slow it down further!

We have a Hardware Router/SPI Firewall.
