Error: 1101, Severity: 17, State: 2
Could not allocate new page for database 'tempdb'. There are no more pages available in filegroup DEFAULT. Space can be created by dropping objects, adding additional files, or allowing file growth.

I got this every min.

I'm not a DB freak..:/

Hi Sam,

I don't know how big the databases are, but does that give you enough free space on the C partition if you move them to the other partition? Have you also thought about moving the Exchange databases and log files and the clientapps?

Hi Marina

This server is used only for SAP and SQL. The DC and Exchnage is in another server.

But I was wondering how my DB could be sooo big. Anyway after I restarted the sql manager it went to its default size. And now I got 19GB on C. I'l still confuze how it happen. I've just chcked the sql log files (SQL Server Logs):
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\data\tempdb.mdf: Operating system error 112(There is not enough space on the disk.) encountered.

then :
Error: 1105, Severity: 17, State: 2

then:
Could not allocate space for object '#tmpLockRefData______00000A4' in database 'TEMPDB' because the 'DEFAULT' filegroup is full..

ect.

any ide what it coud happen???I was thinking to install SP4. (right now it's SP3) But I have to make sure that I do not lose the DB when opgrading. Any tips??

Hi Sam,

So this not SBS at all? Then you should look at the apps that are using SQL on this server. You should definitely upgrade to SP4. Read the release notes for it.
