Hi All,

I've been notified that sp4 for SQL 2000 is out.

Except for the issue with the AWE which is a show stopper for those who have more that 2Gb of ram AND use the AWE switch in the boot.ini, has anyone else already installed it on a SBS2003 environment ?

Cheers,
Didier

What about for SBS 2000? As I remember, when SQL SP3 came out right after we got SBS, it fixed a major security hole, but was also a somewhat major install. I haven't heard of any security issues yet, how badly is SQL SP4 needed for SBS2k, if everything seems to be running OK, and how bad is it to install? Currently SBS2k is SP1a, and Win2k up to SP4. SQL SP4 is the only thing HFNetChk is showing as missing.

Thanks,
Dave

Install it. It is needed for security reasons.
