Hi
 
I want to install SQL Express 2005 from scratch on a newly installed SBS 2003 Standard box, can anyone please tell me if this will cause any problems or if i need to do anything ??

There is currently no support for SQL 2005. If R2 has been released we know more. Why do you want that?

The reason i need to install SQL Express is because the developer is developing a small application to sit on the server using SQL 2005 and he requires it to be on. It would appar that it is too late for him to redevelop using somthing else.

A standard developer response in this situation I bet. I guess you will need to run it on a desktop until the SBS installation supports it.
