Hi there,

Searching this forum for MySQL I did not find any information about installing MySQL (5.0.21) on a SBS03 Standard server.

So some questions are still open:
- Will it work?
- Will the installation be simple and straightforward?
- Anything I need to know before installation?
- Any tips and tricks (except of first making a full backup of the server)?
- ???
- ???

Thanx on beforehand for advice.

I had to run a test website for a friend on my home SBS Premium, which was based on a MySQL back end.  I just went ahead and installed it, ran though the first run wizard, and that was it, easy as 1,2,3.  BTW I am running 5.0.19 on SBS Premium.

Regards,
David Hartry
