I'm getting a warning from DhcpServer in the system eventlog "Scope, 10.0.0.0, is 81 percent full with only 39 IP addresses remaining."  While we are a SBS 2003 shop, we're expanding.  I've got 60 licenses currently with a max usage of 55 and will be a good candidate for moving from SBS to Essential Business Server.  We've been adding users and printers and have added VOIP phones that are taking addresses and now our shop floor machines are taking addresses.  So back to the scope problem.  The steps I need to take to expand scope are modifying the subnet mask in DHCP on the SBS server.  What else will need to be done?  Do I need to play with DNS and or WINS?  The switches will need their subnet masks changed.  What else do I need to worry about?  Am I going in the right direction?

We're currently not using any subnets or virtual networks, so I am going to investigate moving the 60 phones to a private network so I regain their addresses and if I go this way it will be a whole different learning experience.

You should be able to get 255 addresses in one scope....so it may just need to be tweaked in the DHCP settings.... Although remember if you have a starting range to allow for static addresses you may just need to adjust the end range.
