Hello,

I have a SBS 2003 Standard server where user data files are stored in the "USER" directory in subfolders user individual user name abbreviations.  This "USER" directory is connected to each workstation as drive G:\ during logon via the logon script.

I have one user that uses both a workstation and a laptop.  He has his main user directory set to "Make available offline."  The "subfolder" option is checked to include subfolders in the "Make available offline."

He is experiencing a problem while synching to a Dell 1505 laptop.  The problem happens when he is on his desktop computer and he creates a subfolder and files under his main USER\username folder.  For some reason, the new folder and files are not automatically marked as "Make available offline."  As a result, when he syncs to the laptop, the new folder and files are not transferred to the laptop.

I am under the impression that subfolders should sync without having to go to each new subfolder each time one is created.  Am I missing something here?  Or is there something more I need to do in order to ensure all files and folders are synced each time.

Thanks,

TFISHER
