Hello,

I have had a bunch of server issues lately so I am trying to track down the different errors and problems I have been having.  I am really hoping that the great people here can help me or offer some insight.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give. - Tod

Recently one of my user accounts has had some weird problems with accessing and syncing the redirected My Documents folder.  Here's what's going on:

-When I click on My Documents from the station I am able to connect to the folder without problem.
-When I check the target for the My Documents folder I can confirm that it has be redirected to the server username folder (\\SERVERNAME\Users\Username\My Documents) and that this folder is the folder that is opening when I click My Documents.

The Problem:
-When I open Excel or Word and try to save a file to the My Documents folder I get the following error:
"You do not have access to the folder '\\SERVERNAME\Users'. See your administrator for access to this folder."
-Offline files are unable to sync due to the same problem.

I am not sure why the station is trying to open the \\SERVERNAME\Users folder when the Save As dialog box comes up in Word or excel.  There should be no permissions to this folder, only the to Users\Username folder.  Since I am able to access the redirected My Documents folder it seems even more odd to me.

I have rerun the users permissions wizard on the server with no success.  The only fix for the time being seems to be giving the user permission/access to the \\SERVERNAME\Users folder.  Once I do that then everything seems to access/save/sync properly.

Any insight?

Thank you very much in advance!
