Does anyone have some reccomendations for slow logins to my sbs server (r2) form xp pro workstations ?

Turn on Userenv logging and see if it points you to anything. You may also want to check were the client is pointing to for DNS.

Please, post an ipconfig /all from the server and a workstation. Open a command prompt by opening Start -> Run from the Start Menu and type cmd. From the command prompt type ipconfig /all >ip.txt. Attach this file to your answer.
