Hello all,

I am having an issue where it seems that several client computers (running WinXP SP2) are losing connectivity and authentication with my SBS2003 server. It seems to happen in the overnight hours, because when I come in first thing in the morning I can't access my network drives on the server, nor will it let me connect to the server through My Networks.

This is only happening on 2 machines. If I log off, then log back in, then I can access everything, but not until then. Outlook works fine with Exchange server even if I can't access the server drives.

There error I get is:
"The system detected a possible attempt to compromise security. Please ensure you can contact the server that authenticated you."

I haven't made any recent changes to the server. The only network change was replacing the LAN router.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Travis

Also, I am losing my connections for the network printers also - they are connected to other computers and shared on the network.

Hi Travis,

Please, post an ipconfig /all from the server and a workstation. Open a command prompt by opening Start -> Run from the Start Menu and type cmd. From the command prompt type ipconfig /all >ip.txt. Attach this file to your answer.
