SBS2003 R2 Premium 10 users
Windows XP SP2

These clients have been working fine until this morning.

2 clients use TS to access a remote accounts system. They use Remote desktop for this. Everything has worked fine until this morning when the 2 clients cannot now connect to the remote TS. ISA firewall is installed.

The users can use an alternative client pc with their own usernames & access the remote TS with no problems. They cannot access my own TS either from the "faulty" clients.

I have been checking their pcs all morning but not found anything wrong. The local SBS & remote TS have been rebooted.

Please can someone help?

What is the error that these machines recieve?

Have you tried to login from those machines using a username that works on the other machine?

Thanks for your reply.

The error is the regular TS not configured type error. I don't have it exactly at the moment, see below.

Any username on the "faulty" clients does not work. It's specific to those pcs.

My customer has got another company in to "fix" the problem. They did this by disabling the ISA client on the non-connecting pcs!

Update

As well as disabling the ISA client software, the 3rd party has also adjusted the RDP Outboard rule on the ISA server by adding the "Internal" group to the "from" section. So the "from" section now has both "local host" & "internal".

Can anyone confirm whether this is safe?
