Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but here goes....

I want to direct my webmail users to the outlook web access page as follows.

They enter mail.companyname.co.uk and it opens up the page at remote.companyname.co.uk/exchange

How would I do this?

Thanks

Dan

We have joined the branch office to our SBS 2003 Headquarters and have the same user experience on the branch office as we have on our local  network at the Headquarters. Want to know how? Hi Mariette,

I did the steps outlined on the post you linked to and got a "one file copied" message on the command prompt.

I still cannot get access using https://mail.mycompany.co.uk I receive a 403.6 error, Unauthorised to view this page.

Can you offer any more help?

Thanks

Dan

Hi Dan,

Have you tried rerunning CEICW?

Hi Marina,

I have now rerun the CEICW. When I get to the create certificate page I left it as remote.companyname.co.uk. Should I change it to mail.companyname.co.uk as I am still getting the 403.6 error.

Thanks

Do I need to do all the steps listed in this tutorial or just the bit for Root access to OWA?

Any help would be much appreciated as I still cannot get the mail.companyname.co.uk method to work, still getting 403.6 error.

Thanks

Dan

Hi Dan,

No, you don't need that article, just running CEICW should do it. What is the public IP or FQDN? Did you domain hoster create a DNS record for your FQDN?

Hi Marina,

My ISP has created some DNS A records for us. There are several A records that all point to our IP address - 91.84.249.37. The FQDN's are - mail.gscontrols.co.uk
webmail.gscontrols.co.uk
mailgate.gscontrols.co.uk

There is also remote.gscontrols.co.uk which is what I want to use to get to the RWW.

Thanks

Dan
