How can I setup my win2k3 SBS to allow users to dial into the server which gives them access to the internet??  the sbs current has a dedicated phone line attached to it.

I don't want this to be a VPN connection but rather a PPP connection.

So in essence I want my win2k3 SBS to act as a PPP server...

Off the top of my head, what you want is for them to run as VPN clients using teh SBS Connection manager.

Can I presume from your question that your remote users are at home but do not have internet access? If so my feeling is that this is a very restrictive way for giving Internet access to users as you will be llimited to one user at a time. Also the response time of their access is going to be limited to that of the phone line.

Assuming that your server is ADSL connected, personally what I would do is get your home users set up with an ADSL connection and have them run as VPN/RWW clients.

Well what I have is a router with a dial-up modem connected to it.  When the router turns on it automatically trys to make a PPP connection through the dial-up modem with a pre-given dial up number.  Once connected you can connect computers into this router and essentially get the internet since the router has allready made a PPP dial-up connection through the modem.

the problem is that the router can 'only' make PPP dial-up connections because it thinks it's connecting to an ISP.  Therefore I need my server to act as an ISP via phone line.  Make sense?
