Hi

Monitoring broke on my server which has forced me to uninstall and then re-install monitoring. I have successfully uninstalled monitoring ( I was following a how-to by Mariette) but I am having trouble re-installing the monitoring reports. It keep failing with a MSDE fault and asking me to re-install the whole administration suite, which will hopefully fix the MSDE problem.

BUT here is my problem....I have the full version of SQL 2005 on the server and I don't want the re-install of the admin suite to mess it up. There was originally a sbsmonitoring database in SQL 2005 before I deleted it. I need to know what will happen if I re-install the whole admin suite.

Thanks

Andrew
