Sometime between 5pm and 6pm this evening, almost my entire calendar dissappeared! All the appointments are gone. Poof!
Apparently, I somehow enabled Sync Services on my Macbook, and Entourage and iCal were syncing, and that may have caused the problem.

All my email is there, all my contacts are still there, all my tasks are still there...just my calender is gone!

I have a valid NTBackup from last night, but what is the best way to recover this?

And how can I keep it from happening again?

I would be interested in paying for remote support if needed.

Thank you!

Ok, after a decent night's sleep, I think I recovered the data.

I was all set to use the Recovery Storage Group feature, and was getting that rolling, following a Microsoft Whitepapter, and when I got to the step about restoring the backup to the Recovery Storage Group, one item caught my eye.

Sure enough, I opened Outlook, made sure it was connected to Exchange, went to my calendar, and then clicked on Tools>Recover Deleted Items.

What to my wondering eyes should appear, but my entire calendar! All the deleted appointments and meetings and recurring appointments! Right there!

I selected All, then Recover Selected Items, and 2 minutes later, I was golden!

I had my calendar back!
