Hi,

I followed the instructions on the site so I could connect to my computer at work that is behind SBS 2003.
However, now my Internet connection is really slow.
I have to connect to VPN > remote desktop > do what I need to do > Close RDP > Close VPN
Then turn it all on again if I need to do something.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

It may be slow, because you do have a bit of overhead with the VPN and RDP.

Not only have I been having slow internet connection VPN > RDC seems to hang but it just takes 20 seconds or so to reach. It is driving me crazy as I can't work like this.
it can now only be the VPN connection that is causing problems.

These are all the things that didn't work.
On my mac I have connected a network cable in case it was Airport.
Remote desktoped to another computer in the office.
Check/Unchecked "Send all traffic" on my mac

I also connected to the server via RDC without VPN and it worked fine.

Configuration - Default
Server Address - Correct address
Account Nmae - Correct account name
Encryption - Automatic (128 bit or 40 bit)
TCP/IP
Configure IPv4 - Using PPP
Configure IPv6 - Automatically
DNS
DNS Servers - 192.168.16.10
Search Domains : servername.local

So it has to be the VPN. Anything I can try and change to the VPN settings? Should I be trying to change things on the mac or server?

yes it could be..how much outgoing bandwidth does your server's connection have? make sure you have your vpn set to use less than 80% of your server's outgoing bandwidth.
