hi all,

my name is irvin and i am a network enigineer, strictly WAN technology. reason saying that is i have sbs 2003 premium and i am not good with server stuff and i need some help. i have my sbs server up and running but i want to use my email that i have hosted elsewhere. i know i should set up some type of forwarding but i dont know how. server has
two nics, i have cable modem----firewall-----gigswitch---and LAN.
please help me.

Hi Irwin,

Do you intend to use the Exchange POP3 connector or use SMTP for mail?
POP3 is the easier of the 2 but is less flexible.  SMTP is the better option if you have static public IPs.
Let me know which you wish to use and I'll try my best to assist.
