I have a problem with the POP3 connector.

We have a web site hosted by a third party and we have several domain names map to it.  We receive mail from all of the domains.
The hoster forwards all mail from all domains to a single pop3 mailbox and we use the pop3 connector to retrieve it.
Here lies the problem; on the POP3 connector configuration page, there is a box for an email domain.  Only mail destined for the domain listed here is delivered to user's mailboxes.
If I change the domain listed there, then mail will only be distributed for the domain listed.

Have microsoft limited the POP3 connector to a single domain??
This is causing problems for two of my clients and so any help would be appreciated.

Hi John,

POP3 has got more issues, and unfortunately I don't have a solution for you besides switching to SMTP. That would definitely save you a lot of headaches.

Marina Roos Smallbizserver.Net AdministratorMission accomplished. We have joined the branch office to our SBS 2003 Headquarters and have the same user experience on the branch office as we have on our local  network at the Headquarters. Want to know how? Hi John,
besides using smtp (indeed will save a lot of headaches) you may ask the provider to forward all mail for a particular domain to a separate global mailbox. In pop3 connector you can configure multiple global pop3 connectors, each popping their own domain.
However, will give you a lot of work as you have to make the mail-delivering rules on a per domain basis

regards,
pim

Thanks Pim, that is what I amdoing.  They a re a dodgy Linux based web host.
I say dodgy because they say they can't do that.  I'm thinking of hosting the domains elsewhere.

as for SMTP, this customer has said they want POP3 so my hands are tied on that one too.
