Just started using Exchange on our SBS2003 - used to us VPop3 instead to keep things simple!

Since the Oullook 2003 clients have started using the online mail boxes there is a glich in the way that the contacts work. If you add a contact to your address book it does not recognise it when u press the 'check names' button on the email, nor can u click the 'to' button next to the 'to' line on the email and add it from there.

If you start a new email, manually type in a contact, check the names & then add it to your outlook contacts it does add it - but the same scenario happens agains when u try and send another email to the same person. If a contact is already in your address book and u add it, it recognises it as a duplicate, but still wont use it in a new email.

I have compared the properties of contacts that work correctly & contacts that work incorrectly, and they are exactly the same. Ive even tried exporting contacts then adding them back in to no avail.

Surely there must be something I am missing that is causing this? Any thoughts much appriciated as it is driving ppl mad!

Paul
