I've been using SBS for a few years now with POP3 downloading (for greater infrastructure reliability for incoming mail) and using the SMTP virtual server to send mail out. We gradually are getting e-mails rejected because our IP is on a blacklist (static IP but from a large ISP's allocation). Getting it taken off the blacklist will probably be impossible so I'm trying to work around this but I'm not sure how. I thought about a smarthost - I got an smtp server address, username and password from my ISP but the mails get sent back with my IP address is on a blacklist error message - please help! Thanks. |
