Hi Robert,

No problem for Exchange to get email from multiple domains:
How to setup Exchange for multiple domains:

But can you elaborate on the long name please?

when I said long name I ment it was like this, www.myreallylongdomainname.com and I made it www.short.com so the email address would be easy to type.

Hi Robert,
Are you talking about the local AD domain name? You don't want that to be your registered internet domain name anyway. You should have accepted the default when installing SBS, as it did suggest company.local to you, and that is not just for fun... Only if you have Mac's in your network, you should use something different than the .local addy, rather something like .lan or .office, but never a registered addy like .com.

I may not be saying this correct, I started a web site with a really long domain name people said it was to long to type so I created another domain with a short name and if you type in either www address it goes to the same site. I first used the long domain with my email address the started using the short name. I still get email from both domain names. when my web host was hosting my email no matter what domain you used it came to the same email. I called yesterday had the MX record point to my static address in my office. is you go to the site dnsstuff.com and put in either domain name it points to the long name wich points to my static office address. if I send a email to my long address name I get it if I send it to my short email address I dont?

Hi Robert,

I'm not sure if I fully understand you. Are both domains pointing to your public IP for the MX records? Can you post those domain names (you can do that private if you want) so I can check it out? Do you get a NDR from the domain you don't receive?
