I have installed Exchange Sp1 and patch kb843539 now on the article "how to install service pack1 for exchange 2003" there are any changed to do on boot.ini file, i open boot.ini file on my Server and have:
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows Server 2003 per Small Business Server" /fastdetect

I haven't understand where add the new parameters (/3GB and /USERVA) on Boot.ini, on the way i need to restart server? or Exchange Services?

Hi Simona,
Here is my boot.ini:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server" /fastdetect /3GB /USERVA=3030

Yes, you need to reboot the server after changing the boot.ini
