Hello,

  First post to this forum.

We have an Entourage/Exchange issue that is plaguing us.  Three instances now of the same issue.

A user launches Entourage, receives a message that there is an authentication problem (whether the password was previously saved or the user enters in manually) and can't retrieve mail.  On clicking OK in the dialog, Entourage continues to contact Exchange and retrieves all email for the user including recently-sent email.  Thereafter, the user cannot truly get new mail from exchange and has to re-start Entourage and go through the same dialog and subsequent retrieval.  Kind of a farce, really.

Has anyone encountered this before?  We have plenty of other Macs running the same version of OS (OS X 10.4.X) that connect to and check email without problem.

Thanks for any suggestions,

/timothy
