hi all

today's hairy one

my office has recently split, some of the staff moving to a new location
ppl in the main office, with the Exchange server, can't get mail to the folk at the other office..
wondering if I can somehow route outside the building
we use an external mail host. The ppl in the new office have no problem POP their mail from that host, of course.. but the Exchange server in the main office is not aware that some of the ppl aren't inthe building. I'd like to teach it somehow

in the main office we send using DNS and the server has POP checks the mail from the host for the ppl who ARE in this building
I think the natural solution might have something to do with getting the server online (static IP, exposed to the net) but we haven't got the 2nd nic/firewall in place yet so no RPC over HTTP etc

even if I work on the 2nd NIC tonight, I'm not confident that I'll have the firewall worked out by morning so I'd like to find a work around that allows users to still POP. We have a few staff external to the building, not just the seperate office, so POP access to some of the mail accounts is a requirement.
