Hi,

I have a client running SBS2003.  Two weeks ago I gog a server log saying there was a large amount of mail in the out going queue.  There was over 45k e-mails from update@paypl.com.  In addition the SMTP server had an authentication problem. After deleting the e-mails and re-authencating the server everything seemed to work for a while.  Yesterday (and again today) the same problem occurred.
I am going to run full virus scans on all of the workstations tomorrow morning (when I get to the client’s office).  I am also going to run Spy Bot Search & Destroy on all workstations.  My questions are:
1.      What else should I do to identify the offending workstation(s) – is there any indication in the e-mail which points to the workstation that originated the message?  The e-mails are in the SMTP queue.
2.      How can I make the server only send mail from domain users?
3.      Is there a way to identify who the recipient is while the e-mails are in the SMTP queue?
Thanks
Rich
